Capital is any reusable structure that amplifies or enables the creation of value.

Capital = function, not form. An unused land is not capital itself (it does not genrate value).

• Reusable – It’s not consumed in one use (unlike raw materials).
• Value-generating – It enhances productivity, capability, or effectiveness.
• Structured – It has some order or configuration (not just a pile of stuff).
